WHAT ARE THE HEALING PROPERTIES OF ALLOGRAFT PRODUCTS?
These allografts contain a unique mix of bioactive substances such as collagen, as well as other proteins, growth factors, and cells recognized as important in the healing process.
Allograft tissues have been shown clinically and scientifically to support soft tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and minimize scar tissue formation. It also has reported anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-fibrotic properties whose characteristics make amniotic allografts an attractive wound biomaterial.
WHAT DOES AN ALLOGRAFT PROCEDURE INVOLVE?

CORD BLOOD TISSUE
Cord blood is a cryopreserved non particulate injectable derived from the umbilical cord. As a biological healing matrix, it contains a variety of growth factors, cytokines, hyaluronic acid, extracellular matrix, (ECM), and viable cellular materials (mesenchymal stromal cells). Cord tissue is reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, epithelialization and anti-fibrotic properties.
